Spark Studio, Year 2, Session 7, Week 37

What a wonderful last week of the school year in Spark! The Spark heroes continued to work daily with Montessori materials in the morning, focusing in on many of the new works that have been added to the studio. However, the heroes also had a ton of fun in the afternoons with lots of outdoor time and even a popsicle celebration to express gratitude for a year full of challenge, growth and fun!

The heroes capped off the year with an all-school camping trip that also served as the Discovery Studio’s exhibition. The Spark heroes got to learn and engage with survival skills like pitching tents, tying knots, building fire, filtering water with natural materials, and hoisting a bear bag! They also went hiking and played in the water with friends!

The camping trip was a success and families have asked for it to become an annual tradition. Seems like a good idea to us!

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for more challenge, exploration and love of learning 🙂
